Volunteer Training for Family Promise will take place this Saturday, November 19, at 9:30 a.m. at First UMC (9th and Arendell Streets, Morehead City). This training, which usually lasts around an hour, is required for all who wish to help with Family Promise. This is an opportunity for area churches to come together in the name of the Lord to minister to our community. this event is a yard sale with a twist. All th e tiems are fee. People will be encouraged to take what they need and leave the rest for their neighbors.

A trip to see the drama, “Judgement House” is planned for Saturday, Nov. 19. We will leave St. Peter’s Church at 3:00pm and return around 11:00pm.

Operation Christmas Child Trip to Charlotte (for packing Project Christmas Cheer boxes) will be Nov. 24th; return trip is Nov. 25th.
