St. Peter’s Church is a congregation created and sustained by God’s Word, and by God’s gifts of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion. And because of our Word-and-Sacrament life together, St. Peter’s Church is very much engaged in this world.
Faithfully living the Christian life is always an adventure. It involves some surprises, some disappointments, and many challenges. Following Christ does not come naturally. Trusting and obeying Christ do not happen easily. Living with and for Christ requires, for starters, a group that we call “church.”
St. Peter’s United Methodist Church is a congregation of God’s people who know the adventure of living with and for Jesus Christ. Our foundation is in God’s Word and Sacraments. Our outreach is to the world. And the adventure involves standing on the foundation and reaching out to the world in the name of Jesus Christ.
