St. Peter’s roots go back to circa 1897 as a small Methodist Society. Later, Camp Glenn Methodist Church was formed from that society. In 1962, Camp Glenn Methodist Church moved to the Mitchell Village area and was renamed St. Peter’s Methodist Church.
